As far as I am concerned Diego is the only photographer to use in Tulum or anywhere! He is really personable, kind, and thoughtful to the brides needs. He stays out of the way and blends into to the environment. I don't feel like I "posed" at all, yet there are countless beautiful pictures. His pictures are art! We were optimistic prior to our trip to Tulum having only sent emails to Diego. From the moment we meet Diego at Luna Maya, Jolie and I felt comfortable and excited. After looking at his portfolio, we knew he was a great photographer and artist. Not to mention, we really enjoyed his company and energy every time we saw him. He was very professional and helped us out tremendously with local information. Diego has created wonderful maps and additional information that was extremely helpful during our visit and wedding planning, Todo Tulum http://www.todotulum.com/ .
Coordinating our wedding from Seattle presented some stressful times and a lot of unknowns. However, meeting Diego our 2nd day in Tulum made the rest of our trip enjoyable. Diego introduced us to Fabiola Urquiza www.tulumweddingsdestination.com , a wedding planner in Tulum. Fabiola and Diego had great advice for local flowers, hair and makeup stylist, dry cleaners, and other wedding info. Our one regret is we should have hired Fabiola a year ago. We were thankful and relieved by Diego's willingness to help us have a magical wedding day.
The photos that are posted here are only a few of the 400 total photos that are all so amazing. Our biggest upcoming challenge will be choosing our favorites to put in frames around our house. Diego, thank you for your kindness and making me, a guy from Seattle, born in Oklahoma, feel right at home while in Tulum. I look forward to the future visits and friendship. This wedding was truly the most special event possible - and Diego was able to capture everything in the most incredible way! (The true spirit of the event, including emotions, thoughts, etc.) He is magical!!!! At first, we thought that his prices were rather high for the standard in Mexico....but, we are SUPER glad that we chose him, because his assistance, guidance, and photography were unequaled - and certainly worth more than we could have possibly imagined.

He made the entire event more special by being there, and he has given us the gift of truly special, permanent memories (beyond our imagination and expectations).
